Did you know...

Artist trading cards have been around for centuries, and used for various purposes.

Before photography was invented, portraits were created on small cards and exchanged.

Later, advertising trading cards became collectible and were included in product packages.

In the 19th century, people swapped small photos of themselves on metal or paper cards.

Mailart (aka mail art) is art sent through the mail, usually via the postal service. It's generally seen by everyone who handles the mail, en route.
Artistamps are faux postage. They look like 'real' postage stamps, but they're actually created by artists, and often aren't legal postage.
