Did you know...

Different countries have different rules about where faux postage can be placed on envelopes.

Different countries also have different rules about what can be sent through the mail 'as is' without additional packaging.

In the U.S., I have seen a decorated toilet seat that was sent through the mail, with just an address and postage on it.

So, be creative!

Mailart (aka mail art) is art sent through the mail, usually via the postal service. It's generally seen by everyone who handles the mail, en route.
Artistamps are faux postage. They look like 'real' postage stamps, but they're actually created by artists, and often aren't legal postage.
